Here I will teach you how to install the Tekkit client.
First got to technicpack.net
Then click on Tekkit 1.1.4 Beta for Minecraft 1.0
Now scroll down a little bit, and click on the big USE MCNOSTALGIA TO DOWNGRADE..
Then on the page that loads click the blue link in the middle of the page/post (above any screenshots.)
Now while thats being downloaded install 7-zip, get it here: HERE Get that downloaded.

Now install 7-zip, and then once done, view the MCNostalgia in Windows Explorer, and
right click on the .zip file, and hit "Extract".
now launch the .exe file named "MCNostalgia2.0.2.exe"
Press enter, then 1 and hit enter, then enter again
and now you have Minecraft 1.0
Now on the Tekkit page on technicpack.net, scroll down a bit, and click the Direct Client link
Once thats done downloading, extract it. Then once its done extracting, right click
the Technic_Installer.jar file and hit open with, then hit the Java one
Follow the installer, and on the second page in the installer on the "minimum install"
button, change it to full install.
Then let it finish, and when it is, you have the Tekkit pack!!!! Now just connect to my
server at 71.145.149.3:25555! IT CHANGED!! =(
